2025 Hyundai i20 – Pipercross Intake, XForce Resonator Delete & Powerflex Mount Upgrades
This striking 2025 Hyundai i20 recently visited Kreskas Automotive in Croydon South for a selection of performance and interior enhancements designed to improve its driving character. The owner wanted a combination of more engaging engine sound, improved drivetrain response and a sportier interior finish. To achieve this, we installed a Pipercross performance intake, XForce exhaust resonator delete, Powerflex mount upgrades and an Alcantara steering wheel, creating a well-rounded package of modifications focused on driving enjoyment and individual style.

The Pipercross intake system is designed to improve intake airflow characteristics while introducing a more noticeable induction sound, enhancing the connection between the driver and engine. Complementing this, the XForce resonator delete modifies the exhaust note by removing the factory resonator, providing a more pronounced sound without requiring replacement of the entire exhaust system. We also fitted Powerflex performance mounts, which are designed to reduce excessive drivetrain movement under acceleration and improve the feeling of connection during gear changes and throttle inputs. As with many firmer mount upgrades, some additional vibration may be noticeable. Completing the package was an Alcantara steering wheel upgrade, providing a distinctive motorsport-inspired appearance and tactile driving experience.
