2022 Hyundai Kona N – XForce Resonator Delete & Genuine Hyundai Wind Deflector Installation
This sporty 2022 Hyundai Kona N recently visited Kreskas Automotive in Croydon South for a selection of tasteful upgrades designed to enhance its exhaust character and everyday usability. Combining the practicality of a compact SUV with Hyundai's impressive 2.0-litre turbocharged N performance engine, the Kona N delivers a distinctive driving experience. The owner wanted a more engaging exhaust note without the expense of replacing the complete factory exhaust system, alongside a practical exterior accessory upgrade. We installed an XForce resonator delete and genuine Hyundai wind deflectors, providing a combination of performance-inspired sound and everyday convenience.

A resonator delete is a popular exhaust modification that removes the factory resonator section while retaining much of the original exhaust system. Resonators are primarily designed to manage certain exhaust frequencies and reduce unwanted noise. Removing this component can produce a more pronounced and aggressive exhaust note, particularly during acceleration, while offering a more affordable alternative to a complete aftermarket exhaust system. The final sound characteristics depend on the original exhaust design and operating conditions. We also fitted genuine Hyundai wind deflectors, designed to help reduce wind turbulence when driving with the windows partially open, while complementing the Kona N's exterior appearance. Together, these upgrades provide subtle personalisation without requiring extensive vehicle modifications.
